Two fathers and two sons went fishing. They each caught one fish, but they caught three fish in all. How is this possible?

 

Answer: There were three people who went fishing- a grandfather, a father, and a son.  There are two fathers because the grandfather is the father of the father, and the father is the father of the son. There are two sons because the father is son of the grandfather, and the son is son of the father.

Right now everyone in the world, no matter where they are, is doing one thing in common. What is it?

 

Answer: Everyone is aging.

A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires; the second is full of assassins with loaded guns; the third is full of lions that haven"t eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him? Explain your answer.

 

Answer: The room of lions, because lions cannot survive for three years without eating.

Answer: STAIRS go up and down but don't move.

 

 

 

5th WEEK RIDDLE

 

Two trains travel towards each other on an empty stretch of land, each traveling at a speed of 50mph.  If they start 200 miles away from each other, how long will it take for the trains to crash?

 

Answer: It's not possible for trains to travel on an empty stretch of land because they need railroads.  Also, the drivers would most likely see each other and prevent a crash from happening.

The hardest question that scientists are trying to figure out is: "What is between space and heaven?"  What is your guess? 

 

 

Answer: The correct answer is "and".  "And" is between heaven 'and' space!

Answer: The man first carries the chicken across.  He rows back and carries the corn across. Then, he takes the chicken back and carries the fox across.  He rows back and takes the chicken across.
